PMAY 2.0 Online Apply: Online applications have started for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 for one crore new houses.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0: The central government led by Prime Minister Modi has come up with the PM Awas Yojana 2.0. In this, financial assistance will be given to the people to build houses. On 9 August 2024, the Union Cabinet approved PMAY 2.0 for economically weaker (EWS) and middle class families in urban areas. 1 crore new houses will be built under this scheme. According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Rs 2.30 lakh will be sanctioned per unit. Under this scheme, 1.18 crore houses were approved in the last phase in urban areas. More than 85.5 lakh houses have been built and handed over to the beneficiaries. The scheme will be implemented across India in various sectors like Beneficiary-led Construction (BLC), Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP), Affordable Rental Housing (ARH) and Interest Subsidy Scheme (ISS). Online applications have started for 1 crore new houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0. You can also apply for this online.

These documents are required to apply:

Aadhaar details of the applicant and family members

Active bank account of the applicant

Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account

Income certificate

Caste certificate

Land documents (if you are applying for financial assistance for construction on your land)

How to apply for PMAY (Urban) 2.0:

Step 1: To apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0, first visit the official website https://pmay-urban.gov.in/.

Step 2: After opening the website, find the “Apply for PMAY-U 2.0” icon and click on it.

Step 3: Read the instructions of the scheme carefully and proceed.

Step 4: Check your eligibility by providing the required details including your annual income.

Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar details for verification.

Step 6: After verification, fill the registration form with details like address and income proof.

Step 7: Submit the form and wait for your application status.
